Power-Ups are recurring items in the Bomberman series that affect the abilities of a player during gameplay.
Description
Depending on the item and how they are used, it can put the player at either an advantage or a disadvantage. They are in most cases found by destroying Soft Blocks, although in some games, they can also be dropped by defeated enemies. In most games, Power-Ups can generally be destroyed by bomb blasts and in some early games, enemies may also be spawned when a power-up is destroyed. Some Power-Ups are strictly found in Normal Game, while some others are only available in Battle Mode.
In Battle Mode, some options such as Item Select or Handicap allow the player to choose the Power-Ups they want to appear during the battles. In addition, some options such as Power-Up Settings, allow the player to set the power-ups to be burnable or fireproof.
Below is a list of the most common power-ups that can alter gameplay.
