The Gold is a type of currency in the Bomberman series.

Description

Gold can be found in some of the games, particularly the RPG-themed ones, and are used generally to buy items.

Bomberman 64: The Second Attack!

In this game, Gold can be found by defeating enemies or by destroying Soft Blocks. It can be used to purchase Parts and Hints at the Merchant Ship Frontier Shop. There are 4 types of coins that can be collected with different sizes; worth 10G, 50G, 100G and 200G.

Bomberman Tournament

In this game, Gold can be found mostly by defeating enemies; all of them drop randomly either 3, 5 or 10G. Gold can also be obtained as a reward for finishing certains quests or as a prizes in the Arcade games or Charabom Colliseums. It is used to buy items in the Shops.

Bomberman Jetters: Densetsu no Bomberman

Found by defeating enemies, used to buy items in the shops.

Bomberman Story DS

In this game, enemies don't drop gold anymore and instead drop materials, which can be sold in the shops or eventually traded to specific NPCs in return for gold. Gold can be then used in the shops to buy items.
